S&P assigns VAMPO-Avisma rating of BB+, outlook Stable

MOSCOW, Mar 25 (PRIME) -- International rating agency S&P Global Ratings has assigned a long-term rating of BB+ to Russian titanium giant VSMPO-Avisma with a Stable outlook, the agency said in a statement on Thursday.

S&P expects the ratio of the company’s funds from operations to debt to average at least 60% in the next several years despite a slowdown in the aviation industry due to the COVID-19 pandemic thanks to the current management of working capital and deferred dividend payments.

The stable outlook reflects expectations of the agency that the company will focus on maintaining the ratio of funds from operations to debt while its operating indicators will recover together with the aviation industry in general.
